Total Insight Theatre are offering a free series of online workshops focussing on mental health, wellbeing and the arts for young people aged 16-21 in London and Kent.
Total Insight Theatre are launching a project called In It Together, which is a free, creative, virtual support scheme that's very much a response to the current pandemic.
As an arts charity, they're passionate about nourishing creativity in young people, making the arts accessible to all, and promoting positive mental wellbeing.
During the Covid-19 crisis, we’ve seen how opportunities within the arts have dwindled or stopped completely, and we know that for some, this type of extra-curricular activity is incredibly important. The company aim to deliver virtual sessions via Zoom focussing on creativity and mental wellbeing, allowing participants a safe space to come together and connect, socialise, build their confidence and hopefully have some fun!
Virtual Creative Hub
In It Together is a free, virtual creative scheme launching in October, for young people aged 16-21 years old in London and Kent. The scheme will consist of eight workshops, held once a week via Zoom, and will focus on two main elements : creativity & mental health and wellbeing.
The creative workshops will explore a range of art forms, including writing, spoken word, music, text and character work, improvisation and games, movement, devising and physical theatre. The wellbeing workshops will help you assess your wellbeing, as well as provide resources and contacts to help you navigate your way through the Covid-19 crisis and its aftermath.
The primary aim for In It Together is to bring people together, helping young people get connected and stay creative during what are some very tricky times.
