Return to Six?
How are you doing? So today everything has changed again, and what was once advice, has now become law. We have had the #ruleofsix introduced. However,Youth Clubs are in the exemptions and remain on amber.
This means we can continue to meet in groups of 15 (excluding leaders). With many of our youth programmes happening outside, we are ensuring that everyone can stay covid-19 safe. You can watch our short video to see how we will do this:
As well as a return to our old clubs, we have developed some new clubs. These have come from feedback from parents and young people who accessed our work during lockdown and the summer.
Returning to FAVERSHAM:
An 8-12s group starting to meet fortnightly from the 24th at Brogdale CIC's Walled Garden Site email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
In the next few months will also be looking to return our Friday Night Older Youth Club (more information to come)
We also are welcoming Cooking Up Ideas (Faversham) to our team! This is a cooking club for youth with disabilities (& ehcp) that have lots of fun learning about food as they make a meal which they then eat together. This club is currently fully subscribed, email email@example.com to join the waiting list
Over lockdown we created an online club for the siblings of children or youth with disabilities to get together and have some time out on. This has been great, and some of them have even met face to face at our Summer Club! We have decided to continue this much needed club. For the moment, as the group are widespread, we are keeping the club on zoom. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details of how to join in!
