What's on in Lockdown 2?

23rd November 2020

Lockdown might have put youth work back into the red zone, but that doesn't mean we've stopped supporting the youth of Swale! This time around, alongside our Zoom Clubs, we have been able to run wellbeing (support) bubbles, and detached work. Click the video below to see what's been on!

Absolute Arts have been crafting at home! We've loved seeing their creations!

Our Zoom clubs have been great too and full of laughter! Last week 812 Squad received a gift bag with hot chocolates, biscuit decorating kits and playdough. We had a lot of fun using these in our online club! It has meant that team 1 have caught up with team 2 meaning it's all hanging in the balance to which team leader (Lou or Zac) gets pied at Christmas!

In Teynham, Faversham, Rushenden and Sheerness our teams have been out for detached work. Sadly Skateparks are also under lockdown, but our detached team have been working on our Sittingboune park The Mill too.

In schools we've been setting up MSTeams mentoring, delivering assemblies and creating online wellbeing packages. These are now starting to roll out!
