Friday night youth club, run by Creed Outdoor Learning staff, is held during school term time at West Faversham Community Centre. If you are secondary school age (11-19) then this ones for you.
Each week we have a underlying theme and a short activity based around the six ways to wellbeing promoted by Kent County Council (Be Active, Keep Learning, Give, Connect, Take Notice and Care for the Planet)
We regularly have 35-50 young people at club, taking part in indoor sports (table tennis, pool, bowling, soft archery, badminton), seasonal outdoor games (archery tag, climbing) regular arts and crafts activities, music, dance, video/ computer games, chill out areas, team building, tuck shop, discussion groups and competitions. It is a great place to make new friends and socialise with those you already have! We regularly ask young people for feedback to find out what else they would like to do, so come along and give us your ideas; we want this to be a place for you to have your say!
During school holidays we provide trips and activities in the local area. Our friendly staff and volunteers all hold Enhanced DBS and are there to listen and help with all aspects of life.
